Approved Instructor ADI
A completely qualified approved driving instructor will have green badge displayed on the windscreen
Trainee driving Instructor (PDI)
The trainee instructors are given a pink licence for 6 months so they can gain experience to teach.
If the prices of driving lessons are too cheap, then you should clarify,
if the lessons are for a full hour,
if the driving instructor is qualified to teach, the car that you will drive.
Cheap lessons may not always be good and you may end up spending more.

Currently in the UK you have to be 17 years of age to obtain a provisional licence to drive a car or ride a motorcycle - unless in receipt of a full disability allowance, when you can obtain a provisional licence at the age of 16 years. You must be in possession of a provisional driving licence before you will be able to drive on a public road. All our driving instructors are registered with the DSA (Driving Standards Agency). This guarantees good quality instruction and service.
The DSA monitor all registered driving schools and driving instructors. These are continually graded at regular intervals.
The DSA is the government appointed body that controls the driving schools industry.
