How much does a single driving lesson cost?

A single driving lesson costs £37.50 per hour, suitable for beginners or those wanting extra practice.

Lessons are held in East London, Docklands, Canary Wharf, Goodmayes, and Hornchurch.

Terms & Conditions

1. Your Driving Instructor

Your driving instructor is a sole trader and a franchisee of Eastend Driving School. Eastend Driving School acts only as an agent for your instructor in receiving lesson payments. The agreement for driving tuition is solely between you and your instructor. Eastend Driving School is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of tuition.

2. Lesson Agreement

The driving tuition agreement is between you and your instructor. Eastend Driving School facilitates bookings and payments but does not act as a guarantor for the service provided by the instructor.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Lessons

Student cancellations: You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. If notice is not given, the lesson fee will be charged in full.
Instructor cancellations: If your instructor cancels a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice (except in cases of illness, emergency, or vehicle breakdown), the lesson will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
Lessons missed due to late cancellations are non-refundable.

4. Payment and Lesson Bookings

Payments can be made via online payment, PayPal, cash, or valid Eastend Driving School gift card only.
Eastend Driving School will not be responsible for payments made by any other method.
If you pay your instructor directly, please obtain a receipt. Eastend Driving School does not accept responsibility for direct payments to instructors.
All payments must be cleared before lessons commence.

5. Special Offers and Discounts

Special introductory offers are available only to new learners holding a provisional licence and cannot be used by full licence holders.
Offers cannot be combined with other promotions, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
Each offer is valid for one customer only.

6. Refund Policy

Unused hours: If you have not used any lesson hours at the time of cancellation, you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid, subject to an administration fee of £10.
Used hours: Any lessons already taken are non-refundable.
Gift cards: Pre-paid gift cards or vouchers are non-refundable once redeemed.

7. Eastend Driving School Gift Cards

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Gift cards have no cash value and must be redeemed against driving lessons.
Once redeemed, gift cards are non-transferable.
Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

8. Driving Lessons Insurance

Your instructor’s vehicle is fully insured for learner driver use during lessons and practical driving tests.
Eastend Driving School is not responsible for any claims outside this insurance coverage.

9. Customer Service and Complaints

In the first instance, please raise any concerns directly with your instructor.
If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Eastend Driving School customer services at 07932 944654. We will investigate and, where appropriate, assign you to another instructor.

10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Eastend Driving School reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
